You can also see that we were testing different hoses. Neoprene on the left and aluminum on the right. The Neoprene has proven to be much better. It's much smoother on the inside and the fiberglass and steel wire reinforcements keep the hose as straight as possible to the Cold Air Intake providing the best air flow. 

The CudaCobra Mustang-Rush dual-scoop Ram-Air Kit is designed to enhance your current Mustang Cold Air Intake (CAI). Current under-hood straight-shot CAI's are great and flow extremely well. However they still suck hot air from under the hood lowering your effective performance gains. This is especially a problem when cruising slow down the strip or waiting in staging lanes at the track. It's a known fact that the colder the intake air the more power your car is going to make. True for naturally aspirated engines and especially true for boosted engines, where the benefit is amplified. With our Mustang-Rush Ram-Air system your air intake temps will cool very quickly as soon as you launch. Our tests have shown that air intake temps can rise over 100 °F when idling on just a 70 °F day and to over 130+ degrees when your car is shut-off for a few minutes. Hotter days are even worse. Our Test show that our kit cools air intake temps much faster with cruising temps stabilizing at 0.7 -2.0 °F above ambient outside temp in a few miles. Much sooner and cooler than standard under-hood straight-shot CAI's running without our Kit. Not only are you bathing your CAI with much cooler air you are Ramming the air into the CAI providing even better breathing and more HP.
